Take for instance the Tour De France 2009, the premier cycling event in
the world. In this epic battle of the best in the world Lance
Armstrong, and his Livestrong Global Cancer Initiative teamed up with
Nike and some very creative minds at Carnegie Mellon University to come
up with the Chalkbot, a machine that captured and reproduced
inspirational online social media messages for Lance and his team, and
then painted them on the roads of the Tour De France.
